History of Our Club
Tri-K Barrel Race was created in September 2002. After organizing competitions for various round-up clubs and other
organizations, Kay Acosta, Dona Kay Rule and Lona Smith - decided to try it on their own. What resulted was a professoinally
run weekly competition, which drew competitors from all over Oklahoma and several surrounding states. Due to their committment
to fairness and having a fun time, this weekly competition continues to grow, drawing more competitors each year.
Tri-K also has grown as a barrel racing producer, and often contracts with various committees and clubs to assist in
marketing and producing their events.

Our Commitment
We are committed to producing a professionally operated barrel race! As barrel racers, we know what you want in
a barrel race - great ground conditions, fair practices and timely management (you want to be home before midnight!).
